A truck driver was forced into his trailer and kidnapped by three attackers in Ontario, Canada, this week.
According to police reports, the truck driver had just finished being loaded at Hearn Industrial Services in Oakville when he stopped to inspect his trailer’s back doors. That’s when three men approached the driver and forced him into the trailer.
One of the attackers drove off with the rig and two others followed closely in a red Kia minivan. The attackers stopped after a half an hour and secured the trailer’s doors when they noticed the driver was trying to attract attention through through the doors.
After an hour of driving, the attackers pulled over in an industrial lot in Mississauga, tied up the driver, and transferred him to another trailer.
In a bizarre twist, the robbers also left the stolen trailer behind after realizing they had no use for the plastic mold parts inside. After being discovered and released, the truck driver finished delivering the load to its intended destination — a nearby Ford plant.
Police have not yet identified the attackers.
