PACCAR International just issued a recall on nearly 2,000 Peterbilt trucks because they’re able to travel at speeds that exceed what the stock tires can safely handle.

Safety experts warned that the issue could lead to tire failure, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.

According to a notice by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recalled models will be governed at a top speed of 65 miles per hour, the maximum speed capability of the Michelin 295/60R22.5 XZA-2 tires that come with the trucks.

Model years 2010, 2012, and 2015-2016.

Model years 2011-2016

Peterbilt 365

Model years 2009, and 2011-2016

Model years 2009 and 2012-2013
