Illinois based truck maker, Navistar, recently made it’s largest one time sale to a major U.S. trucking outfit.

Celadon trucking services purchased roughly 500 LoneStar tractors. Navistar’s president of North America Truck ad Parts, Bill Kozek, describes the purchase by the carrier by saying:

“Celadon is a true partner and this is another example of the confidence the market has in our products,”

The International LoneStar sports a Cummin’s ISX15 with 540 peak horsepower and XX peak torque.

As of the latest quarter, however, Navistar’s sales still lag behind other major truck makers such as Freightliner and PACCAR (the maker of Kenworth and Peterbilt).
