A section of Interstate 5 in Cowlitz County, Washington, was closed on Thursday evening due to a large mudslide.
The mudslide took place on the northbound lanes at mile marker 23, near Woodlands, Washington, about 29 miles north of Portland.
One vehicle was hit by falling rocks, but no one was injured.
The Washington State Dept. of Transportation said the closure is expected to last all night. Trucks are being allowed to park for the night at the Clark County Fairgrounds, off Northeast 179th Street.
