Dozens of semi trucks were forced to stop on the side of Interstate 90 East in Willoughby, Ohio, today, in order to wait for road conditions to improve.
According to Cleveland9.com, ‘at least’ 50 trucks were on the shoulder of the highway due to the slippery roads and low visibility.
The area was hit with roughly two inches of snow.
The Ohio Department of Transportation deployed additional snow plows and salt trucks to help with slippery road conditions.
A nearby rest stop was also filled to capacity.
