The Minnesota Highway Patrol has released this shocking dash cam footage of an intoxicated truck driver swerving on the highway.

The incident was recorded back in July, but the footage was just released.

The clip shows 45-year-old truck driver Joseph Czech dangerously swerving on Highway 10. When officers tried to stop him, he continued to swerve between the road and the right shoulder, and even knocked down a highway sign.

Troopers reported that Czech, a Minnesota resident, had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Czech reportedly told officers that he consumed “a few beers.”

After searching the cab of his truck officers found two large bottles of Vodka next to the driver’s seat. Two hours after his arrest, Czech’s blood alcohol level was measured at 0.28.

At the time of the incident, Czech was pulling a Walmart trailer and was employed by Crete Carrier Corporation. He was fired by Crete after the arrest.

Czech was charged with driving while intoxicated, his second drunk driving offense.
