A large tornado has touched ground southwest of Oklahoma City as of 5:46pm CDT.
The 1 mile wedge tornado is producing baseball size hail and deadly winds near New Castle, Oklahoma. Police are urging people to take cover immediately.

The tornado warnings are in effect until 9 PM and span 27 counties.
Update: Interstate 44 from Chickasha to Newscastle has been closed due to debris from the tornado. Interstate 35 is also closed at Tecusmeh due to downed power lines. Amazingly, there have been no reported deaths.
