One tow truck driver in Fort Collins, Colorado, was answering a 7 p.m. call on a Sunday to remove an illegally parked vehicle which was blocking another.
He was preparing the vehicle to be towed when he was approached by Jeremiah Proctor.
The 27-year-old came out of a building wearing a gas mask and Kevlar vest while wielding a katana in hand. Proctor attacked the H&K driver but only managed to slash a tire of the tow truck before be was tackled by witnesses near the Pier Apartments.
Proctor was charged with criminal mischief/attempt and felony menacing.
