Martellion Ham, 21, of Buffalo, NY, was out on bail after an earlier violent attack and mugging of a high school student, when he decided to strike again. This time, his target was a truck driver in upstate New York.

Ham snuck into an unattended semi truck and waited inside for the driver to return. Once the driver returned, the 21 year old pointed a gun at him and demanded for his wallet. When he was unsatisfied with the amount of money in the wallet, he put the gun in the driver’s mouth and threatened his life.

The truck driver was able to knock the gun away and flee the scene. Ham was caught shortly after by police and was recently sentenced to 12 consecutive years in prison. He received four years for the initial mugging, and another 8 years for the armed robbery.
