On Thursday morning, in Portland, Oregon, a semi-truck caught fire after a crash on the Marquam Bridge.
Officials stated that the truck driver crashed into a divider where the Marquam bridge splits between I-405 North and I-5 South. According to KATU, when the semi stopped along the I-5 South on-ramp, a car then rear-ended it.
The driver jumped from his car right before it was rear-ended by an oncoming SUV.
The Oregon Dept. of Transportation reported that the semi damaged a crash barrier and spilled about 100 gallons of diesel.
No one was injured in the crash. Officials are unsure when the bridge will re-open.
