A furniture dealer, who was driving a rental truck from New York to Philadelphia, crashed into a low overpass on the FDR Drive earlier this week — and blamed the accident on his GPS device.

According to the New York Daily News, 61-year-old Vuk Vuckovic struck an over pass near E. 70th street in New York City, on Tuesday afternoon. The impact peeled the roof of the truck off.

“I had thought an atomic bomb had gone off,” he said “I got scared. My stomach is still spinning.”

The antique company that rented the tuck was ticketed for the incident, because trucks are not allowed on the FDR drive.

No one was injured.
