A South Dakota man faces potential jail time for shattering a trucker’s windshield with chocolate milk.
In early August, 19-year-old Jacob Arendt purchased a half-gallon container of chocolate milk at a Pilot Travel Center in Murdo, South Dakota. Arendt and a group of friends then dropped the container of milk off an overpass over Interstate 90, near exit 192.
The milk landed on a tractor trailer’s windshield, which shattered upon impact. The driver pulled off the road and called the police.
The truck driver, Chris Lewis, sent us this photo of the aftermath.
According to The Daily Republic News, Arendt was arrested and charged with throwing a substance on a highway with intent to damage.
He could potentially face a year in prison and a $2,000 fine.
