Parking can be a difficult matter for truckers. But one trucker had to deal with someone allegedly damaging multiple parts of his truck over his choice of a parking spot.
According to The Daily News, 20-year-old Nathan Burry allegedly damaged a milk truck’s brake lines in Attica, New York over what police said was a parking dispute. He is also accused of damaging the airbag, wiring harness and multiple air lines, as noted in the story.
“It was a parking dispute,” Chief Dean Hendershott told reporters. “The driver had parked his tractor in the lot of the apartments and Burry didn’t like it. We never received any complaints from him.”
There is more than $1,800 in damage as a result of the incident. The damaged truck is a 2007 Volvo owned by Walton Milk Hauling Inc.
Burry was also charged with criminal mischief and criminal tampering, both in the third degrees, and reckless endangerment to property.
He “was released on his own recognizance and released to the Wyoming County Department of Probation and Correctional Alternatives,” the Wyoming County Free Press reported.
