Love’s Travel Stops is continuing their expansion in 2016, with plans to open 40 new locations and create more than 3,200 additional truck parking spots.
Co-CEO Frank Love commented on the expansion in a recent press release:
“We remain committed to providing more safe places for our Customers to fuel, park and rest, and these newly constructed locations will add more than 3,200 truck-parking spaces to our network”
Half of the new locations will be opened on interstate highways, with another 20 on local state highways.
The company will also add several new restaurant chains to their locations, including Dunkin Donuts, IHOP express, and Taco John’s.
Love’s also has plans to expand their hotel business. Currently, the company operates four hotels but plans to open ten additional hotels next to existing Love’s stores in 2016.
