Unveiled earlier this year at the Mid-America Truck Show, the Peterbilt 567 was met with lots of excitement and fanfare from truckers. Peterbilt claims to have used the most extensive product research in developing this truck compared to any other of their big rigs on the road.

The Model 567 comes with a PACCAR MX-13 engine with 500 horsepower and 1,850 lb-ft of torque. The chassis is 15% stiffer than similar units in order to deliver improved handling and maneuverability.

“We interviewed hundreds of drivers about their preferences to ensure the 567 cab would provide operators with the most desired, productive and comfortable operating environment.” explained Peterbilt’s chief engineer, Landon Sproul.

We can’t wait for this to hit the road and we sure expect the same quality that we’ve grown accustomed to with the Peterbilt brand.
