Interstate 55 in Chicago was shut down in both directions on Monday morning due to a massive semi truck fire.

It happened on the Stevenson Expressway at Cicero Avenue near the Pulaski Road exit. NBC Chicago reported that a semi truck carrying 17,800 pounds of paint caught fire before crashing into a second semi in the southbound lanes.

The Chicago Fire Department reported that at least two cars were also involved in the collision. Hazmat was called to the scene due to the hazardous and flammable chemicals hauled by the semi truck.
