Update: One lane on the southbound I-25 has reopened, however the clean up is still ongoing.

The southbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Colorado have been shut down due to a crash involving two semi trucks on Monday morning.

The incident occurred near mile marker 250.

According to 9news.com, a semi truck that was hauling wine caught fire after rear ending another truck which was hauling meat. The driver of the truck that caught fire was taken to the hospital with serious injurious.

Colorado State Patrol is advising drivers to take alternate routes while the cleanup is underway.
