Wind gusts up to 88 miles-per-hour were recorded in Southern California this week, causing several big rigs to overturn and leading to many close calls.
A video published by KTLA 5 News shows the wind lifting a trailer’s rear tires in stopped traffic in Inyo County. The clip also shows one of the overturned tractor trailers on Highway 395 in Pearsonville. The footage was recorded on Wednesday afternoon.
In total, the four tractor trailers were blown over by strong winds in the surrounding areas. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
