On Monday, March 16th, a Budweiser semi trailer was stolen from the Gulf Distributing Budweiser Warehouse on the East I-65 Service Road in Alabama.
Later in the day, the Mobile Police Department received a call which led them to the location of the abandoned truck. It was completely empty when they arrived.
The officers continued their search nearby, onto Chinaberry street, where they came across an opened box truck being loaded with hundreds of cases of beer that were taken off the stolen Budweiser trailer.
4 men, John Webb, Michael Gulley, Joseph Gulley and Lonzo Gulley, were arrested on the spot and charged with receiving stolen property. The alcohol, along with the dollies that were in the truck, were returned to the Gulf Distributing.
According to Al.com the load was worth roughly $13,000 dollars and the four men involved will face up 20 years in jail.
