In San Antonio, Texas, a fiery semi truck accident has caused a major traffic jam for drivers headed eastbound on I-10.

According to My San Antonio, the westbound lanes of I-10 on the East Side inside Loop 1604 near Foster Road have been shut down since 10:30 this morning and will most likely stay closed until around 7 p.m.

San Antonio Police Department stated that the big rig was headed west on I-10 around 10:30 a.m. when it smashed into a barricade that was on the inside lane, just west of FM 1516 near Foster Road.

Officials say the semi’s gas tank collided with the barrier and damaged a bridge over Martinez Creek.

The big rig then caught fire as it flipped onto the highway.
