A young man from Indiana took police on an 20 mph chase in a farm tractor, destroying property and ramming police cruisers in it’s way. The pursuit began in Decatur, Indiana then crossed straight lines into Ohio, where Ohio Highway Patrol joined in on the chase.
20 year old, Douse Clouse, attempted to ram police cruisers several times as they tried to stop him. Their attempts to stop the tractor with spike strips hardly affected it.
After 2 hours, police were finally able to stop the tractor, but Clouse refused to go down without a fight. Officers had to resort to using Tasers to bring down the 20 year old. Fortunately, no one was hurt or injured during the chase.
The man was charge with fleeing and eluding and held in a Mercer County Jail in Ohio on $250,000 bail. Some local residents that caught the action on their mobile phones said it was the most entertaining thing they’ve seen in a while.
