Vince Jones, a star of History Channel’s Big Rig Bounty Hunters, passed away of a heart attack at his home in Ohio, and family members believe his sleep apnea is partially to blame.

According to TMZ, Jones’ wife found her husband “making strange noises” and having trouble breathing in bed around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd. She performed CPR on Jones, but was unable to revive him.

His family told reporters that he was not wearing his CPAP machine that evening, and they believe a “lack of oxygen” caused by his sleep apnea trigger a fatal heart attack.

The family’s belief that sleep apena contributed to his death is merely speculation at this point, and an official cause of death from a medical examiner has not yet been released. His death is currently being investigated.

Jone’s was 46-year-old at the time of his death and leaves behind a wife and six children.

Big Rig Bounty Hunters is a reality show on the History Channel that follows several recovery agents, who work to recover stolen or abandoned trailers and cargo around the country.
