Police in St. Albans, England, recently tweeted out a photo of a truck driver who received a citation for making dinner on his fuel tank.
According to the tweet, the driver stopped on the highway shoulder in order to prepare the meal.
“The hardshoulder of the M25 is probably not the best place to start preparing your dinner,” officers wrote in the tweet.

Several Twitter users defended the driver and commented on his healthy meal choice, which included tomatoes and onions, the BBC reported.
“Truckers get hungry you know,” said one user. “You do have to say he eats healthy,” said another.
The officers confirmed that the driver received a citation for the incident. “The driver stopped on hard shoulder for rest break and decided to make his lunch on the diesel tank. [He was] issued with a graduated fine,” they added.
