
A truck driver survived without injuries after the truck he was in was gobbled up by a sinkhole in Hall County, Georgia, this week.
The 55,000 pound hydrovac truck was hauling 1,600 gallons of water used for digging and excavating when it fell through the parking lot of Diamond Auto Spa on Wallis Road near I-985 on Tuesday.

“I thought a small plane maybe had crashed,” one witness said.
The driver was able to leave the vehicle without injury according to WSB-TV. Rescue crews had release water from the truck’s tank in order to make it light enough to lift it from the 10-foot-deep hole.
The crash also cause a small diesel leak, which was quickly cleaned up.
