A driver of a Dayton Freight truck was shot at in Chicago on the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway on Tuesday.

He told WGN-TV reporters that a car drove along the driver’s side of his semi just before 3 a.m, then swerved around to the truck’s passenger side and took several shots at the driver.

Fortunately, the truck driver wasn’t hit but his rig took some damage. Most of the bullets hit his cab, which caused a hazardous leak, forcing the driver to pull over.

Several lanes where closed as part of a police investigation, and reopened several hours later.

The police are now looking for the gold Chevy Impala and it’s driver.
