
A truck driver and his passenger survived a terrifying crash near Fairplain, West Virginia, on Saturday morning.
According to the Ripley Fire Department, the truck lost control on the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 before breaking through a guardrail and sliding down an embankment.
The Ripley Fire Dept. shared these photos of the incident on social media.
The accident happened on Interstate 77, at mile marker 133, around 7:30 a.m.
The driver and his passenger were trapped inside the rig until rescue crews arrived.
Both men suffered only minor injuries and refused hospital treatment.
