The Commercial Vehicles Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced the dates of the 30th annual ‘International Roadcheck’ inspection spree.

This year, the 72-hour enforcement event will take place from June 6th to June 8th, 2017.

According the their website, it’s the “the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial motor vehicles in the world.” Since it’s inception over 1.4 million commercial vehicles have been inspected during the operation.

Last year, in 2016, 42,236 level I inspections were conducted, resulting in 9080 vehicles and 1436 drivers being placed out of service.

The International Roadcheck spans all of North America and is a joint effort between the CVSA, the FMCSA (US), Council of Motor Transport Administrators (Canada), and the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (Mexico).
