Several weeks ago we reported on an unidentified truck driver that called 911 after seeing a girl being pulled into a suspicious RV at a Virginia truck stop. That call eventually lead to the arrest of a couple that was holding a 20-year-old girl captive.
Now that driver, Kevin Kimmel, is speaking out on the incident. He told WTVR that he “saw what looked like a young girl looking out the window, the black drapes didn’t make it look like a families’ RV”
After the driver called police, they caught up with the couple and arrested Aladair Hodza, 36, and Laura Sorense, 31. Their victim, a 20-year-old girl from Iowa, who’s name has been withheld, told authorities that she was kidnapped and forced into prostitution, as well as sexually and physically abused by the couple.
“When I saw the young girl’s face, I said that’s not going to happen, I’ve got daughters and granddaughters,” Kimmel also told reporters. Kevin Kimmel is now being hailed as a hero, and rightfully so.
