A convoy of tractor trailers will be riding around Bremen, Kentucky, this weekend, in honor of a young boy who was recently killed in a fire.
The boy, five-year-old Levi Case, passed away in a house fire that also claimed the life of his 89-year-old uncle. Levi’s family said he loved big rigs and wanted to become a truck driver, like his father, when he grew up.
Shortly after he passed away, his love for big trucks went viral on social media, with truckers around the country showing their respects for the young boy.
Many truckers around the country began using the hashtag #lightupforlevicase and taking photos with their lights on, in order to honor the boy.
In addition, a group of local truckers plan on driving in a convoy to honor Levi. The convoy will take place in Bremen, Kentucky, on Saturday, February 10th.
So far, more than 30 truckers have committed to participating in the convoy, and they will be joined by trucks from the local fire department as well.
