The Colorado State Patrol is buckling down for the Zero Fatalities, Zero Tolerance campaign set to take place this weekend.
The State Patrol will be out giving the roads their undivided attention. According to the CSP’s press release:
“Every uniformed trooper across the state will be required to participate in the enforcement and educational activities this weekend.”
During the enforcement campaign, the CSP will enact a “zero tolerance for moving violations”, meaning they will be on high lookout for any vehicle making maneuvers seen as life threatening or known to cause crashes. Not surprisingly, commercial vehicles will be on their high priority list.
The Zero Tolerance campaign is set to begin on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until Monday at 12:00 a.m.
