In Sacramento, California, investigators are searching for individuals who were witness to a crash.

So far, very little information has been released about the incident.

On Friday, June 10, a single rollover crash involving a semi truck and trailer occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Louise Avenue in Lathrop.

According to The Sacramento Bee, when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the driver had suffered a gunshot wound from a single bullet.

The truck driver died as a result of his injury.

According to several social media posts, the driver has been identified as Tai Cook of Indian River Transport.

CHP investigators ask that anyone who has witnessed the incident or who has any information concerning suspicious activity on southbound I-5 from Sacramento County through San Joaquin County to come forward.
