On Monday afternoon, April 25, 2016, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, two new Lexuses were destroyed when the truck carrying them hit a bridge.
A car-carrying truck was transporting the two Lexuses, but the load was just a little two high for a bridge over-head. The Patriot Ledger reported that around 1:30 p.m., it was heading south on Route 3 when it hit a bridge at Route 18.
These are the remains of the Lexuses.
The two Lexuses were crushed and the collision left extensive debris. The crash shut down the right lane for about an hour while clean-up was underway. Law enforcement issued for a bridge inspection team to assess the damage.
Police issued a citation to the driver. No one was injured but the new Lexuses will never see a car-show.
