A truck driver in England was transporting brand new Ford cars when he took a short cut to try to avoid traffic on the A46 and accidentally destroyed them.

It was Friday, March 13th. The driver was on his way to the Stratford district village. According to the Daily News, his short cut led him near Long Itchington, in Warwickshire,where he came across the old Snowford Hill railway bridge.

The driver misjudged the height of the bridge and inadvertently wedged his vehicle under it, damaging the cars he was hauling and the bridge itself.

The accident, which happened around 8:30 a.m., cost thousands in damage repair to both cars and the bridge itself.

The identity of the driver was not released, but Ford is underway with investigations into the “serious incident”, as they described it.
