A car driver who attempted a risky maneuver wound up stuck between two dump trucks.
According to a police report, the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday on Route 440 near Communipaw Avenue in Jersey City, New Jersey.
NJ.com reported that two dump trucks were stopped in the northbound lanes when a woman, driving a 2007 Toyota Yaris, attempted to cross multiple lanes across traffic. In the process, she lost control of her vehicle.
She told police that her car spun around and became wedged between the two trucks.
The car was crushed, and the 50-year-old woman was pinned inside. She had to be extricated from her car by firefighters.
Amazingly, no one, including the Yaris driver, was injured in the incident. She was cited for improper passing.
