A busy bridge in Quebec, Canada, was shut down after being struck by a raised dump trailer on Thursday morning.

The incident happened on the northbound lanes of the Mercier Bridge during morning rush hour traffic.

According to the Montreal Gazette, the bridge was closed for 4 hours in order for authorities to examine the integrity of the bridge after the collision. It has since reopened.

The 70-year-old driver told authorities he was not aware that the dump trailer was raised. He was not injured.

It’s unclear if the driver will face charges.
