bridgecollapse

A truck driver seemed to escape certain death when the bridge he was crossing in Greene County, Pennsylvania gave out and started to collapse right under his rear wheels. The driver, Jason Strawderman of West Virginia, who was hauling a water tanker for Buccaneer Enterprises, drove over the bridge Sunday afternoon.

Pollocks Mill Bridge, built in 1878, had to close after the daring attempt to cross the bridge. The bridge also had a posted weight limigt of 4 tons. Lets just agree here, this poor bridge never had a chance.

The bridge also supports a gas line, which had to be shut down as well.
