A 16-year-old bikini-wearing teenager who robbed a truck stop convenience store in Riverton, Wyoming, was captured by police on Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred at the South Federal Pit Stop Travel Center in Riverton, Wyoming on Monday, October 19th.
According to the a store employee, the female suspect walked into the store and tried to buy a beef jerky, but didn’t have enough money. A few minutes later, she reentered the store and pulled a gun out on the clerk and demanded cash. She got away with roughly $300.
Local police were able to identify the suspect from the store’s surveillance camera. She was captured on Tuesday, less than 24 hours later.
Rivertorn Police Captain Eric Murphy issued the following statement, “With the assistance of the BIA we were able to locate a 16-year-female who had been signed as a runaway through BIA and located the girl, she was brought to the Riverton Police Department around 6:00 pm last night for questioning and arrested and charged with armed robbery in connect to the Pit Stop robbery.”
