
A semi truck accident shut down lanes of I-275 near downtown Tampa, Florida after it jackknifed. It happened around 10:30 a.m. near the I-4 interchange.
According to WFTS Tampa Bay, when the truck driver switched lanes, the concrete block he was hauling shifted, causing the truck to jackknife. It then crashed into a guardrail under the I-4 overpass.
The damage was severe.
The massive concrete slab blocked lanes.
Crews worked to clear the roadway of debris.
The unnamed truck driver was not injured in the crash. By 1 p.m., southbound I-275 reopened.
