Police in Detroit, Michigan, say a big rig was traveling too fast for conditions when it jackknifed and fell off an overpass on Interstate 75 on Tuesday morning.
It happened on the northbound lanes of I-75 at Dearborn Street .
According to WXYZ, the truck, operated by a 55-year-old male driver, fell off the bridge after losing control and striking another vehicle. The trucker was taken to the hospital with leg and arm injuries.
Several northbound lanes were closed after the accident, however as of 11:05 a.m., the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) said all lanes were reopened.
Police are investigating the incident.
