The northbound lanes of U.S. 101 in Gaviota, California, were shut down for several hours after a FedEx truck overturned, blocking all lanes.

According to KEYT News, the 32-year-old driver veered off the road around 6:50 a.m. and hit a hill on the highway median. The truck then overturned, blocking all northbound lanes.

The reason why the driver drifted off the road is not known, however drugs or alcohol are not suspected to be a factor.

The highway was closed for nearly 10 hours, before reopening on Thursday evening.

The driver was not injured.
