In Houston, Texas, a tractor trailer was crushed when the driver mistakenly backed his vehicle into a freeway overpass.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on Wednesday at the North Loop and Hardy.
According to KHOU, the semi truck driver was headed eastbound on the loop when he tried to make a U-turn in order to head westbound. While he was backing up to turn, the truck’s trailer hit a curb, causing the top of the vehicle to smash against the overpass above.
The trailer was crushed and the overpass was damaged.
The truck driver was uninjured, and traffic was not affected by the collision.
