This is one of the most bizarre stories of the year.

According to the Sheboygan Press, a man was arrested for impersonating a police officer after making an illegal traffic stop near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, last week.

A truck driver told police that a black BMW swerved in front of him on Interstate 43 and repeatedly brake-checked him, signaling for the truck driver to pull over. The erratic driving continued for 20-30 minutes, until the truck driver finally pulled over on the highway’s shoulder.

When both vehicles came to a stop, the man in the BMW told the truck driver that he was a police officer and climbed on the hood of the semi truck. He then scolded the truck driver and demanded that he “apologized to Jesus” for speeding.

Coincidentally, the truck driver’s rig was governed at a max-speed of 64 mph, making it physically impossible for him to be traveling over the 70 mph speed limit.

After the incident, the truck driver called police, who later stopped and arrested a man who matched the suspect’s description. He was identified as Haris Mackic and admitted to stopping the truck driver. Mackic was charged with impersonating a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
