Two people were injured after a car collided with a semi truck in Kansas City, Missouri.
It happened on Monday evening when the driver of a Ford car attempted to change lanes on northbound I-35 near Anticoh Road. The car driver collided with a semi truck, which sent both vehicles crashing into a guard rail, tearing up several feet of the barrier along with it. The semi and car went flying down an embankment.
Then the semi rolled on top of another car below.
The semi truck driver suffered minor injuries, and the Ford driver suffered serious injuries.
The third lane of the highway was closed through Tuesday morning due to the damage to the guard rail and concrete bridge. MoDOT arrived at the scene for emergency repairs.
According to KCTV 5, the exit ramp from northbound I-35 to Antioch was also closed while crews cleared the crash site of the overturned truck and its debris.
