Last week a truck carrying a load of live lobsters in Massachusetts, hit a low overpass on Westwood Road. The driver was not injured, but the crash caused the live clawed crustaceans to scatter all over the road.
The spilled load, which had a retail value between half a million to a million dollars, also sparked a few humorous tweets by locals.
Coincidentally, it was the first day of a new commuter rail line company, which had it’s opening delayed due to the lobster spill. Guess there couldn’t have been a more iconic welcome to Massachusetts than lobsters everywhere.
