Distracted pickup driver drops cell phone and crashes into big rig while trying to pick it up

In Cub Run, Kentucky, a Glasgow man caused a collision while distractedly driving.

According to Kentucky State Police, the incident occurred at 1:26 p.m. on Thursday on Club Run Highway.

WBKO reported that Larry Goodman was driving a pickup truck when he dropped his cell phone. As he reached down to pick it up, he veered into another lane and crashed into a semi truck driven by Jeffrey Burton.

Police reported that both men were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision. Both drivers sustained minor injuries.
