In Bartholomew County, Indiana, a semi truck driver lost control of his vehicle after an unusual incident.
After receiving reports of a semi truck on its side, police arrived at the scene.
According to WLFI, truck driver, 22-year-old Patrick Molex of Ford Heights, Illinois was traveling eastbound on 850 South when his driver’s side window was suddenly struck by a large owl.
The truck driver lost control of his rig and veered off the roadway and drove into a ditch. The truck then hit a culvert and rolled onto its side.
The semi crashed just after 4 a.m on Monday morning.
Molex was not injured, but the owl was found dead on the floor board of his truck.
