In Reno, Nevada, an eight-vehicle crash held up traffic on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred on eastbound I-80 near USA Parkway. Nevada Highway Patrol troopers reported the series of crashes began with the initial crash between a car and a semi-truck at around 5:30 a.m.
According to News 4, all three eastbound lanes were closed west of the USA Parkway exit.
Tow trucks struggled to reach the scene due to the mile of cars stuck behind the crash site.
Troopers reported that eight people were injured, but not the injuries sustained were not serious.
