A truck driver was hospitalized after falling off a bridge in northwest Kansas on Thursday.
According to KAKE.com, a semi truck driven by Juan Carlos Baez started to veer of the road while traveling on an Interstate 70 overpass in Goodland, Kansas. When Baez attempted to turn back towards the road he struck the bridge, causing the truck’s cab and trailer to separate.
Both the cab and trailer plunged off the overpass.
Baez, who lives in California, was wearing a seat belt and survived the incident. He was taken to Goodland Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
