On Monday, an overpass on the I-75 in Cincinnati, Ohio, collapsed and came crashing down as it was being replaced and shut the busy highway down for 24 hours
The truck driver, Eric Meyers, who drives for J.B. Hunt, was driving under the bridge when the steel and concrete came crashing down. The cab of his truck was demolished but miraculously Meyers was able to walk away with just a few scratches.
He spoke to WDIV4 in Detroit about his close call.
Another man, 35-year-old construction worker, Brandon Carl, was not as fortunate and was killed when he was working on the bridge as it collapsed.
An investigation is currently underway to determine to cause of the tragedy, but it may take weeks to reach a final conclusion.
