A 23-year-old woman died on Wednesday afternoon after sideswiping one semi truck, then crashing head-first into another.

The incident occurred around 3:56 p.m. on El Segundo Boulevard in Gardena, California.

The driver of the black Nissan Sentra was heading westbound when she side-swiped a big rig in the center turning lane. The impact caused her to lose control and crash head first into another semi truck that was traveling on the eastbound lanes.
